In the summer of 2011, Angie and I left the staff of a great megachurch to launch out into the abyss and begin planting Grace Hills. It wasn’t for the stability, the notoriety, or to have less stress. At Saddleback Church, we were surrounded by great people, willing volunteers, a budget for effective ministry, and mentors and friends. We are planting Grace Hills Church for three primary reasons:
- People, without Jesus, die and go to hell and church planting is the most effective way to stop that from happening.
- God has called us clearly to plant Grace Hills in northwest Arkansas right now.
- We believe in the power of collaboration and multiplication for kingdom expansion, ultimately for the glory of God in all the earth.
If you believe God is calling you to church planting, we want to know about it. We wish we could give financially to every church planter and add people to our staff for training and sending purposes. Unfortunately, our resources are not as unlimited as we would like them to be. But we can help. As Grace Hills grows, we want to make available various internships, residencies, training, and mentoring opportunities. We want to put planters in contact with potential partners. And we want to multiply our efforts by planting daughter churches.
So please, email me at brandon@gracehillschurch.com and tell me your story. What is God calling you to do, and how can we help equip you?

Church Planting Projects With Whom We Partner
The Summit Church in Pasco, WA
The Summit Church is led by Brad and Heidi Faulk, who began their work in Pasco and the Tri-cities area of Washington a little over a year ago. In their words…
In order to see a clearer picture of who we are, it may help to see first who we are not. We are not a bunch of perfect people who have it all together all of the time. We are normal people who get up on the wrong side of the bed, who have bad hair days, no hair days, and moments when we stick our foot in our mouth. And sometimes both feet!
We are imperfect people who understand that we have been created by a perfect God who accepts us just like we are but loves us way too much to leave us that way. And He loves you that much too! We believe that God has an amazing plan for your life. You are meant for so much more. The Bible records in John 10:10 that the whole reason Christ came was so that we could have life and that we might have it to the fullest. We call this the Summit Life – life how it’s meant to be lived.
We kicked off our very first preview service on March 22nd, 2011. We now currently meet every 2nd and 4th Sunday.
Pray for the Faulk’s and The Summit Church, and if you’re interested in hearing from them and potentially partnering with them as well, give them a shout. I know they’d be thrilled to hear from you.
Other Planting and Partnering Opportunities
The Globe, Including North America
We have an ongoing mutual partnership with the Baptist Missionary Association of America to help support a church planting movement for the global glory of God. We love the BMAA because of their emphasis on strong, biblical doctrine, church multiplication, and the role of the local church in spreading the gospel to the nations. If you feel a calling to church planting, they’d love to hear from you.
