Last weekend, four people went public with their faith in Jesus through baptism! In fact, three of them decided to be baptized on the spot, spontaneously, with our without dry clothes. They each seized the moment and stepped out with big faith.
The weekend before that, our church family seized the moment to sponsor about 55 children in Belize so they’d have a meal to eat and clothes to wear. Again, big faith!
We’re in the middle of a series of messages right now called How to Have a Breakthrough. Learning from the example of a Jewish leader named Nehemiah, we decided last Sunday that there are things we need to get sick and tired of. Like sin. Injustice. The status quo.
But we can’t stay sick and tired. We have to give those burdens to God and decide to act in faith, stepping out to do something about the problems we see. That’s what this coming Sunday is all about.
It’s time to seize the moment and act!
I shot a three-minute message this past week to introduce the weekend’s sermon. Watch, like, and share it below…
Life lies before us, full of potential and opportunities, and we often miss out because we give into fear. Instead, we need to punch fear in the face, take the risk and drop in!
Join us this Sunday as Pastor Brandon teaches part two of the series, How to Have a Breakthrough! We’ll talk about what to do when it’s time to seize the moment and take a risk.
Come casual – be you! Bring the kids – they’ll have fun and be well taken care of. Grab a cup of hot coffee on the way in and see what we’re all about!
9:00 or 10:45 am at 2323 West Chestnut Street, Rogers, Arkansas. More at https://gracehillschurch.com.

One of the things I love most about Grace Hills is that we intentionally live out the core values we’ve written down. Namely this one,
We start small and think big. We go all in with a risk-taking faith.
The only way we can keep living out that value as a church is if we’re each living out that value as individuals and as families.
So, seize the opportunity to invite someone to come with you on Sunday. Decide now that…
you’re going to get involved,
that you’re going to give and invest,
that you’ll go on a mission trip,
that you’ll join a small group,
that you’ll be baptized,
On and on the list goes of what God might be up to in your heart. I just want to challenge you, this weekend, to be a people of action. So, let’s get together on Sunday and decide how we’ll seize the moment!
