Sunday Serve Teams

The First Impressions Team acts as hosts for our church, greeting everyone like they’re guests in their home. Serving on this team can look like being a new friend for visitors, helping families find seats together in the auditorium, and making sure the coffee station is fully stocked between services. If you love making people feel welcome, this is a great team for you!

The Media Team captures photos and videos that reflect what’s going on in our services, events, and ministries. Their creativity and eye for design showcases what it looks like to call Grace Hills home! Serving on this team can look like capturing content on Sunday mornings, at Interest Group meetups, and churchwide events.

The Production Team makes Sunday mornings happen by operating our cameras, slides, livestream, and sound equipment during services. If you’re interested in serving on this team but don’t have previous experience, that’s okay! We’d love to train anyone wanting to try out this team.

The Safety Team keeps an eye on what’s happening in and around the building, while also greeting everyone who steps through the door. Serving on this team can look like monitoring cameras, being available in the lobby during service, and being equipped with our emergency preparedness plans.

The Service Host Team makes sure that everyone has a seat after services have started and takes up offering right before services end. This role is part of our First Impressions Team and is a great fit for anyone who loves to help others feel welcome and at home!

The Worship Team leads our church body into a time of praise and reflection in the presence of God. They set the tone for our services by glorifying God for who He is and what He’s done. Serving on this team can look like providing leading or supporting vocals, as well as playing the bass guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, keys, or drums.

GH Kids Team

The GH Kids Team makes one of the biggest impacts on our community by showing kids how much God loves them! They love to make church a place where kids can feel known and included. Every member of our team is given a rundown of the lesson and activities ahead of time, with the main portions being covered by our video curriculum. A clear background check is required to serve on this team. Come ready to have fun!

GH Students Team

The GH Students Team is all about seeing the next generation know God and become who He made them to be. Whether it’s during a lively game of 9-Square or leading a small group discussion, they love pouring into the lives of our students every Wednesday night. A clear background check is required to serve on this team.

Ministry Support Teams  

The Men’s Serve Team works behind-the-scenes so that the GH Men ministry can effectively help men be equipped as disciples and build real relationships. Serving on this team can look like setting up or tearing down events, saying hello and getting to know new GH Men at meetups, and pouring into others as a table discussion leader.

The Women’s Serve Team works behind-the-scenes so that the GH Women ministry can effectively help women deeply know God and build lifegiving friendships. Serving on this team can look like setting up, decorating, and tearing down events, as well as getting to know new GH Women at meetups, and pouring into others as a table discussion leader.

The Care Team rallies around those walking through challenging circumstances. Whether it’s signing up for Meal Trains, helping us partner with Grace Hill Elementary School, stepping in to change a flat tire, or taking the time to send a card of encouragement, they show up for our church body.

The Facilities Team ensures the building, parking lot, and surrounding areas are fully functional for ministry events and Sunday service. Serving on this team can look like helping with small building repairs, cleaning the auditorium chairs, tending the front flower beds, or other maintenance projects.

The Hospitality Team makes sure our main rooms look organized and ready to welcome people in, just as if it was their own home! Whether it’s refilling mints in the bathroom, washing table cloths, or keeping the kitchen organized, they are the all-stars of making spaces feel intentional and inviting. If re-organizing a cabinet sounds like fun, this is the team for you!

The Interest Group Leadership Team brings people together around a shared activity, hobby, or stage of life. They love having fun and building easy, intentional relationships! Interest Group Leaders are responsible for planning meetups and keeping members in the loop of all group happenings. If you have an idea for a group you want to lead, we’d love to hear it!

The Missions & Outreach Team has a heart for those outside of our Grace Hills community. Whether it’s receiving specific prayer guides for our missionary families around the world or helping us serve the NWA area, they love reaching beyond our church body.

The Prayer Team builds up our church body by spending time in intentional prayer for others and churchwide prayer requests. If you love being able to encourage others and intercede on their behalf, this is a great place to serve. Requests are shared on the Church Center app, public replies are optional.
