Hearing someone share their story can be so life changing because it:
– Reminds you that you are not the only one with battles.
– Builds faith in you that God is not absent in battle.
– Gives you hope that God will see you through your battle, just like he saw someone else through their battle.
We are doing this series because it is easy for guys to make it through a battle and never talk about it, so the rest of us think we are the only ones with a struggle. But that idea is not what we see in the Bible at all! The majority of the Bible is people sharing their battles and experience with God so we can know that if he was faithful for them, he will be faithful to us.
