Weekend Review!
This week at Grace Hills was a wonderful week, we had a PACKED house. We are always thankful for this the more kids the more fun!
In our Preschool room this week we learned about Moses parting the Red Sea! We learned that God pushed back the water and made dry land for the Israelites to walk across to safety. God took care of his people. They praised God because they saw that God was truly in control! We know that we don’t have to be afraid because God promises that He is in control of everything!
Our memory verse this week is:
Always keeps – bring arms around making a circle
His promises – make a book with your hands
Psalms 145:13
This week we prayed and thanked God for being in control of our lives we would love for you to continue thanking God for that this week.
In our KIDS room we talked about being world changers, what this means and how to do this. We focused on three steps to becoming world changers.
- Do something
- Don’t give up
- Spread the Gospel
Our Bible story was about Paul, who is a passionate guy. There were times when Paul didn’t know what or how he needed to be impacting the Kingdom but he kept going and doing. He prayed and ask God, “Lord, what do you want me to do.” Doing something is not too difficult; consistency is the hard part, we must work at not giving up.
This week children took turns standing up and sharing what they have or what they can do to make a difference in our world, community, and neighborhoods. My heart lights up hearing these stories because our children have a true desire to be world changers. We heard so many stories of humbly serving to help out their neighbors who didn’t have time to rake their yard.
Our memory verse for this section is:
I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes. Romans 1:16
This week encourage your children that they may be young but they have the ability to change the world. Pray that we stand up for our God, and do BIG things for a BIG God!
