This past Sunday was one of the highlights in the life of Grace Hills Church, and we’re just getting started! We witnessed the testimonies and baptisms of some young people, met many new families, and learned from a foundational passage of Scripture about what God wants to do in, around, and through us.
It was just a year ago that 42 people gathered in an empty office space to begin the work of gathering a new church family together. Now, almost a year later, many more have become a part of Grace Hills, and I want to ask those of you who consider yourselves to be a part of the Grace Hills family to consider joining a ministry team. We want to go to the next level in our ability to reach people and minister to northwest Arkansas, so we need everybody to be investing.
Right now, we have some special areas of need and I’m asking God to raise up leaders for a few crucial areas of ministry…
- Greeting and guiding guests.
- Setting up on Sunday mornings.
- Set up and store the baptistry.
- Help with our kids’ ministry.
Our students will gather this Wednesday evening at the Shadow Valley Clubhouse for SELAH, student worship at 7:00 p.m. and we will all gather this Sunday to hear a message about The Need of the Broken, based on Acts 3. So bring a broken friend with you Sunday! I’ll see you there!
Also, be sure to like the We Love NWA page and pray now that our church will serve our community effectively on this big weekend of outreach!
